The Joan & Dale Wilshire Memorial Picnic
Held at The Bear Creek Lake Park Mountain View Shelter
Our annual picnic is eagerly anticipated and always well attended.
Great venues and a chance to get together to catch up with our regulars and some folks that we don’t see very often.
If you were there, you probably saw lots of smiles and heard copious laughter.
As an added benefit, the club supplies burgers, hotdogs, brats, buns and condiments.
Those were complemented by many delicious side dishes and desserts that our gang brought.
If you left hungry, it was your own fault.
As usual, a good turnout arriving in twelve Corvairs and a bunch of regular old boring newer things. Except that Chris and and his family arrived on bicycles. Good four mile ride for all four of them. What was unusual? A couple of “Hard Luck” happenings. One of Kevin’s cars had a fuel pump fail, and the other had a flat tire. Nothing major, but it delayed their arrival by more than two hours.
